Gbpusd chart 18 august update 2

Small update to point that 61.8 is still holding to the pips for cable as after a 100 pips run downside we stopped there. 200 MA remain at 1.5710 level and notice still the uptrend getting tested.

Eurgbp is currently killing gbpusd as bulls are pushing the cross higher after break of 0.8250. Stops are reported above 0.8270-80 where we have an intersting resistance before facing a key fibo higher.

We are still having support currently at an important fib 38.2 from last up move. Also check the nice top pattern on hourly. Each time we had either a bullish engulfing after a steady upside move or we had a 3-4 range candles before retracing back.

AUDJPY triple top?

Audjpy offering a nice shorting setup but this will only work if we have a triple top at 79.30. Aud is currently stronger across the board and trying to break to 0.92 in such case we should see a new high in Audjpy with this setup invalidated.

Eurusd is still having support at hourly fib 61.8% and bounced again above 32.8 fib. Buyers on dips are still here despite some sell off from central banks. We remain in consolidation mode but Euro looks still weaker than GBP.

Metatrader fibs level tips

OK this is a tip I had via twitter and got it via @fxseeking.

You can get automatically the fib level number shown like here:

All you have to do is in description field you enter the level 38.2 then add %$ this %$ will be automatically replaced by level price. Easy and helps reading fast levels.

Also you can get more metatrader tips here via forex factory and another youtube video showing this tip. Hope it helps.

Again ABCD worked on AudUsd 3 August

Yesterday I posted a chart showing we are to the pip having a perfect AB=CD pattern. Once the pattern completed I shorted it 0.9140 0.9134. My target was conservative on hourly due to USD sell off across the board. 61.8 fib worked fine. RBA overnight hinting for no rate hike soon helped AUD bulls ease a bit. Check charts for more informations. ABCD pattern offered a very good risk reward as I had a stop at 0.9170. We still may face more retracement if USD turn finally alive!
